Hall Hire

Currarong Progress Hall is on the corner of Walton Way and Merimbula Street.

Built by local efforts in 1953, the hall is popular for events like weddings and receptions, birthday parties, and other private and public functions . Ceiling fans, air conditioning and lights ensure a comfortable atmosphere at any time of the day or year. It also has a PA system, and a data projector and screen.

It has a large area for tables and chairs (150 are supplied) and of course clean modern male, female and disabled toilet facilities.

It is also equipped with a modern kitchen featuring large gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge and water heater etc. (see photos)

NB: we do not supply cooking or eating utensils.

All events must be finished by 11 pm.

Fees

  • Deposit
    $400.00 (to secure your booking)

  • Bond
    $500.00 (refundable after inspection)

  • Use of hall per day up until 11pm
    $800

  • Use of hall for small meetings
    $50 per hour or part-thereof.

All areas of the Hall used are required to be cleaned at the hirer’s expense.  The hall will be available for a couple of hours at no extra charge on the afternoon before the event and the morning after for the purpose of setting up and cleaning up.

All events must be finished by 11 pm.

For hall hire please complete the following steps:

  1. Please download and read the CCA Hall Hire Terms and Conditions

  2. Complete the below Enquiry Form below, so we can check availability and suitability for your purpose, and confirm to you whether you can make a booking.

  3. To proceed with a booking, please use the online application form

  4. Pay your Deposit and bond

  5. CCA approves the booking.

  6. You will receive a Confirmation of Booking
